Saneri has a two step process for the applications for funding for research in any of its thematic areas.

STEP 1: 1st Phase of Proposals

Following a public call for proposals, researchers are required to fill-in the 1st phase research proposal template. The filled in template should not be more than 3 pages long.

The 1st phase research proposals are evaluated by the Saneri research team. Saneri will notify all proposals about the outcome of their proposals. Successful candidates would then be required to go to the 2 nd phase.

STEP 2: 2nd Phase of Proposals

Research proposals which were successful in the 1st phase will have to prepare a detailed proposal by filling in the 2nd Phase Research Proposal Template.

Award of Research Grants

The 2 nd phase proposals are evaluated by an external advisory panel. Those proposals that are successful in this round will be presented to the Saneri Board of Directors for funding. Once approved by the Board, a research contract between Saneri and the Researcher will be signed.
